Wheelie Spooky, an All Abilities Trick-or-Treat Party

Come celebrate the tradition of Halloween Trick-or-Treating without the obstacles associated with the traditional door-to-door trek. Wheelie Spooky is a fun, family event is an all-inclusive opportunity for kids of all abilities, mobilities, and developmental stages.
Wheelie Spooky will take place in an ADA compliant gymnasium and will be produced with a “G” to “PG” audience in mind. This year’s event will build on the fun of last year to include:
- A 30 minute window during which kids who are easily unsettled by crowds will be able to come through the gymnasium in groupings of no more than 5-10 families
- A separate “Black Cat Cozy Corner” with comfortable seating, low light, and reduced stimulation for kids who become unsettled during the event
- Limited paid ticketing which will include a swag bag containing a Halloween-themed book, stickers, and a coupon for a instant photo against our backdrop with one of our costumed staff ($25)
We’ll also have a spooky creature feature care of the Portland Insectarium and an exploration station featuring color changing slime and magic potion drinks!
Wheelie Spooky features halloween decorations and themed tables to create a festive atmosphere for kids of all ages to enjoy. Candy and/or other tokens (non-edible toys or other items for folks with allergies) will be available and spooky treats will be on hand.
